Senior Litigation Lawyer

About the role

SMA Law Firm is looking for a highly skilled Senior Litigation Lawyer to join its Riyadh office. The role involves leading complex litigation matters, providing strategic advocacy, and ensuring top‑tier client service across all court levels.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients and the firm before all levels of Saudi courts.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies for complex disputes.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior lawyers while managing the full lifecycle of judicial files.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals with accurate pricing to win new projects.
• Oversee client care and project management to ensure client satisfaction.
• Supervise, review, and draft statements of claim, legal memos, responses, and appeals.
• Provide data‑driven legal advice to senior management on litigation risks and mitigation.
• Lead negotiations and draft settlement agreements to achieve cost‑effective resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• Active and valid Law Practice License.
• 8–10 years of progressive litigation experience.
• Deep understanding of Saudi regulations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage high‑pressure cases.
