Senior Network & Systems Engineer – Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network & Systems Engineer – Lead to design, implement and maintain robust IT infrastructure across multiple sites in Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing large‑scale projects, providing expert troubleshooting and expanding knowledge into cloud and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Drive network excellence through advanced engineering, troubleshooting and systems administration across several facilities.
• Maintain critical systems uptime and act as the first escalation point for complex incidents.
• Plan and coordinate Change Management activities and templates region‑wide.
• Lead regional technical projects from conception to completion, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Automate manual processes and develop tools to increase team efficiency.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and produce technical documentation and SOPs.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Provide on‑call support for critical incidents to ensure minimal downtime.

Required profile

• 3+ years of IT client, server and network service delivery.
• 4+ years of experience in IT systems or a comparable commercial production environment.
• 4+ years of networking experience covering DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting and routing protocols.
• 4+ years of Windows Server, Linux administration or Cisco IOS (CLI) experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot in high‑availability, multi‑user environments and to manage new site launches end‑to‑end.
