Senior Process Engineer – Drive Unit

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer, Drive Unit (DU) will own process engineering for a specific section of the DU assembly line at the new AMP‑2 facility in Saudi Arabia. Joining at launch, you will develop documentation, PFMEA, control plans and conduct capability studies from commissioning through volume ramp‑up, ensuring high first‑pass yield and low scrap.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, control plans, standard work instructions and set‑up standards for the assigned DU line section.
• Lead process trials, pilot builds and first‑off‑tool events, and own Cpk/Ppk and FPY performance.
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DoE) and structured problem‑solving to reduce chronic losses.
• Maintain PFMEA registers, implement poka‑yoke and mistake‑proofing in robot cells.
• Support maintenance and automation teams on equipment issues, tooling design reviews and gauge development.
• Drive scrap reduction and cost‑per‑unit improvements through cycle‑time, yield and labor efficiency initiatives.
• Enforce high‑voltage safety procedures, LOTO, HVIL continuity and compliance with SASO, Saudi MOL, IEC 60204, ISO 13849 and IEC 62061 standards.
• Participate in launch governance activities, safe‑launch events, run‑at‑rate verification and layered process audits.

• Tooling design, gauge development and equipment troubleshooting.
