Senior Procurement Manager (RU)

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager (RU) will support procurement activities for major construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring sourcing, contract management and supplier performance align with project objectives, timelines and budgets. Reporting to the Director – Procurement, the role drives procurement excellence, compliance and value creation across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the procurement team, set objectives, manage performance and foster continuous improvement.
• Deliver procurement activities in line with Tender Event Schedule (TES) timelines.
• Execute and administer complex contracts, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Implement department strategy, policies, processes and controls to meet strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop and regularly update procurement plans based on evolving priorities.
• Select appropriate purchasing methods (single sourcing, competitive bidding) and manage negotiations to optimise cost and minimise risk.
• Maintain qualified vendor lists, evaluate performance and coordinate financial validation with finance.
• Ensure consistent use of templates, schedules and appendices in partnership with the Legal department.
• Support change order requests by reviewing and amending contracts in line with governance procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of procurement experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing a procurement team and delivering results against tight schedules.
• Strong understanding of procurement legislation and contract governance.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and senior management.
