Senior Production Operator

About the role

PepsiCo is looking for a Senior Production Operator to operate and monitor packaging lines in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role focuses on achieving production targets while maximizing line efficiency, minimizing material waste, and ensuring product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and ensure it meets departmental efficiency targets.
• Conduct hourly process‑control checks and lead quality‑wall meetings.
• Monitor material usage, waste, and efficiency; report findings to managers.
• Maintain equipment hygiene, GMP standards, and overall line cleanliness.
• Manage line workers, schedule break times, and oversee cleaning activities.
• Coordinate routine equipment maintenance and report any operational issues.
• Support food‑safety and IPS audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Optimize use of energy resources such as water, electricity, and gas.
• Identify and report workplace hazards, contributing to the OH&S management system.

Required profile

• Experience operating packaging lines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to monitor and achieve production and material‑efficiency KPIs.
• Strong understanding of GMP, food‑safety, and OH&S standards.
• Leadership skills to supervise line workers and coordinate activities.
• Attention to detail for equipment hygiene and waste reduction.

Required skills
