Senior Roads Engineer – Full-time (Riyadh)

About the role

ARX is seeking a Senior Roads Engineer to lead the design and delivery of road and highway projects for its Riyadh office. The role involves overseeing all technical aspects of road systems while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and supervise road and highway layouts for diverse infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, and pavement design.
• Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions and interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans and documentation.
• Review technical deliverables from designers, BIM/CAD teams and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian codes, standards and authority requirements.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
