Senior Solution Architect

About the role

The Senior Solution Architect designs robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. This role translates business, functional and non‑functional requirements into end‑to‑end architectures across applications, data, integration, cloud and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures covering applications, integration, data, infrastructure, cloud, security and deployment.
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures and technology strategies.
• Conduct architecture reviews, assess technical risks, define integration requirements and guide vendor selections.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in solution architecture or a senior architecture role.
• Proven experience designing complex enterprise solutions and leading large‑scale transformation or modernization programs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with senior business and technology leaders.

Required skills

• Enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML and BPMN.
• Major cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• API management, integration and messaging technologies; micro‑services and event‑driven architecture.
• Security architecture practices (SABSA or equivalent), ITIL, DevOps and DevSecOps concepts.
