Senior Underground Mining Engineer

About the role

Hatch is seeking an experienced Senior Underground Mining Engineer to join its Riyadh office. The role focuses on gold mine construction, underground development, and execution across Saudi Arabia, supporting both business development and technical project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead underground development and execution for gold mining projects.
• Manage sub‑contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide technical support to projects at various stages throughout the KSA region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key external clients and internal Hatch networks.
• Travel to multiple work sites as required to oversee operations.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree or formal qualifications in mining engineering.
• Proven experience in underground gold mining and construction.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work to industry standards.
• Experience managing integrated teams and sub‑contractors.
