Service Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for its automation and safety systems across Saudi Arabia. The role involves on‑site assistance, system upgrades, and customer training to ensure optimal plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt technical support for CENTUM VP/CS3000 DCS, ProSafe‑RS SIS, and related Yokogawa platforms.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, including system upgrades, migrations and hardware replacements.
• Implement system modifications, configuration changes, graphics development and logic updates.
• Participate in commissioning, start‑up, acceptance testing and shutdown activities at customer sites.
• Provide customer training, technical workshops and consultancy to improve plant availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience with Yokogawa automation and safety systems.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work on‑site across Saudi Arabia.

• Plant Resource Manager (PRM), FAST/TOOLS, STARDOM.
• UGS, Unit Operations, SEBOL.
• Industrial communication protocols: Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, OPC (DA/UA), Industrial Ethernet.
