Site Architectural Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Architectural Engineer to lead and supervise architectural works on construction projects. The role ensures that all design and construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines while working closely with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all architectural site works for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate architectural activities with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, quality, and compliance.
• Identify construction issues and provide technical solutions to keep the project on schedule.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and health‑safety requirements.
• Prepare inspection requests, snag lists, punch lists and oversee close‑out activities.
• Review completed works before consultant/client inspections.
• Participate in project meetings, provide technical reports and progress updates.
• Verify quantities and assist in evaluating variations and change orders.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, inspections, approvals, and correspondence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• 7‑10 years of experience in site supervision of architectural works.
• Experience on commercial, residential, infrastructure or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural finishes and material specifications.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
• Professional engineering registration or relevant accreditation is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with project management software (advantageous).
