About the role
We are looking for a Steward to join the stewarding team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar, a luxury hotel in the heart of Makkah. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and banquet areas to support the hotel’s food and beverage operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties and ensure compliance with health, safety and environment procedures.
- Operate and maintain stewarding equipment such as dishwashers, glass washers, pot washers and floor cleaning machines.
- Clean, wash and sanitize pots, pans and kitchen utensils according to hygiene standards.
- Prepare and count kitchen equipment and utensils for banquet functions, minimizing breakage.
Required profile
- Higher Secondary School certificate.
- Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP Principles Certificate.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) or preferred local language.
