Preventative Maintenance Technician – Guest Rooms

About the role

The role focuses on scheduled preventative maintenance of guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces at a Marriott property in Makkah. You will ensure rooms are clean, functional and meet brand standards while supporting guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Flip, inspect and assemble mattresses, box springs and bed frames.
• Vacuum behind and underneath furniture, spot‑clean carpets and upholstery.
• Dust surfaces, perform touch‑up painting and furniture repairs.
• Replace light fixtures, inspect and repair grout and caulking.
• Conduct minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing bulbs and patching wall holes.
• Clean all guest‑room surfaces including tubs, tiles, hard floors, windows and mirrors.
• Report serious maintenance issues, safety hazards or unusual findings to the supervisor.
• Follow Marriott safety, security and uniform policies while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
