Supervisor Substations

About the role

The Substations Supervisor will oversee subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities on a large, complex gold mining project in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that all field operations align with the overall project schedule and are executed safely and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and direct subcontractor activities, providing coordination and instruction to their management staff.
• Review and track subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, material and equipment requirements.
• Approve construction methods, manning charts and equipment plans where necessary.
• Ensure installation of materials and equipment conforms to drawings, specifications and vendor requirements.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality policies, procedures and related work instructions.
• Manage external interfaces to keep construction impacts aligned with overall project timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field supervision of construction activities on large, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with subcontractor management teams.
• Solid understanding of safety and quality standards in a mining or industrial environment.
• Capability to review and interpret construction schedules, resource plans and technical documentation.
