System Engineer – IT Infrastructure & Virtualization

About the role

The System Engineer will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s core IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical services such as email, directory, servers, and virtual environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange environment.
• Manage Active Directory objects, groups, and Group Policy Objects.
• Monitor and support Windows Server infrastructure.
• Administer VMware virtual environments (vSphere/ESXi).
• Perform backup and recovery operations to guarantee data availability.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and apply security patches.
• Prepare technical documentation and operational reports.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to deliver reliable and secure services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
• Ability to monitor performance, diagnose issues, and implement security updates.
