Warehouse Facilities & Operations Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Facilities & Operations Manager will lead all hard and soft facilities management services at the new Central Distribution Centre, ensuring a safe, compliant, and highly efficient environment that supports 24/7 supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee routine servicing, repairs, and efficiency monitoring of HVAC and industrial air‑conditioning systems.
• Maintain, test, and audit fire‑fighting systems, alarms, sprinklers and suppression equipment to meet local codes.
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance for building infrastructure, dock levelers, lighting and backup generators.
• Supervise external engineering contractors to ensure timely, high‑quality repairs.
• Manage janitorial teams or third‑party providers, waste streams, pest‑control programs and grounds maintenance.
• Serve as primary contact for health, safety and environmental audits, ensuring contractors complete RAMS before work.
• Maintain statutory compliance records, building permits and maintenance logs.
• Control the site’s operational budget, review contractor invoices, negotiate SLAs and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years experience in facilities management, preferably within large‑scale logistics or warehouse environments.
• Proven ability to manage both hard services (mechanical, electrical) and soft services (cleaning, waste).
• Strong knowledge of local health, safety and environmental regulations.
