Accountant – Al Madinah (Bakery/F&B focus)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team in Al Madinah. The role focuses on supporting a bakery and food‑and‑beverage operation, handling the full spectrum of daily accounting activities and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and related documents.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform daily cash, bank, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory‑related transactions.
• Assist with month‑end closing, financial reporting, and analysis of statements.
• Maintain expense records with proper supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on financial matters.
• Track outstanding receivables/payables and follow up on pending balances.
• Support inventory and cost accounting for raw materials, production costs, wastage, and finished goods.
• Contribute to budget preparation, forecasts, and financial analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting, tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist auditors and management with required financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in bakery, food & beverage, or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.
• Understanding of inventory accounting and cost control.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Currently based in Al Madinah is preferred.
