Accountant – Odoo Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a professional Accountant to join our entertainment and hospitality business in Riyadh. The role centers on managing daily sales, financial transactions, and regulatory compliance using the Odoo platform.

Key responsibilities

• Close daily sales in Odoo PoS, verify cash and electronic receipts, and record any discrepancies.
• Enter all financial transactions—including expenses, invoices, and revenues—into Odoo.
• Perform periodic reconciliations: monthly bank accounts, quarterly supplier accounts, and monthly accounts receivable.
• Manage and track inventory within the system.
• Prepare VAT reports and submit them to the General Authority of Zakat and Tax and Customs.
• Develop the annual budget and produce final financial statements.
• Monitor financial obligations such as rent, salaries, and supplier payments.
• Handle payroll accounting, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with tax and labor regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a solid GPA.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality sector.
• Practical experience using Odoo for accounting, especially Odoo PoS.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of Saudi tax systems, including VAT.
