Area Sales Manager – Middle East (Medical Devices)

About the role

The International Area Sales Manager is a core strategic position driving REJOIN’s expansion across the Middle East. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role covers Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain and focuses on achieving sales targets, building distributor networks and supporting clinical customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute area sales plans to meet regional volume and revenue objectives.
• Identify, onboard and manage new distributor partners; expand existing channel resources.
• Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, hospitals and clinical customers, providing product consultation and surgical technique support.
• Lead full‑cycle sales activities including product demonstrations, proposal development, contract negotiations and bid support.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, trends, policy changes and feed insights to management.
• Assist registration teams with product registration and market‑access activities.
• Coordinate regional marketing events, exhibitions and academic conferences with HQ.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations; complete monthly sales reports, forecasts and CRM updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably in sports medicine or minimally invasive orthopedics.
• Proven track record in establishing and managing international distributor networks in untapped markets.
• Clinical exposure to sports‑medicine procedures, OR attendance and surgical assistance is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated cross‑cultural communication skills and ability to work in the Saudi‑Kuwait‑Qatar‑Bahrain region.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.
