Cluster Director of Business Development

About the role

The Cluster Director of Business Development leads sales initiatives across multiple hotel properties, driving revenue growth and enhancing guest satisfaction. Reporting to the Area Sales Office, you will shape and execute the sales strategy, manage the MICE segment, and build long‑term, value‑based relationships with key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee business requirements of top‑producing hotel accounts through targeted sales and marketing actions.
• Conduct property tours and showcase hotel facilities and services to prospective clients.
• Implement and execute sales action plans that promote hotel promotions, facilities, and activities.
• Manage incoming leads in collaboration with the area’s main account manager.
• Assist in preparing the yearly sales plan and participate in the property executive committee.
• Maintain up‑to‑date files on major accounts, competitor rates, promotions, and strategies.
• Consolidate and submit month‑end sales reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the hotel’s MICE business and support segment sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Degree in sales or related field with at least two years of post‑graduate experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Strong computer literacy, excellent presentation abilities, and sophisticated written and oral communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Guest‑focused attitude, proactive mindset, high integrity, and professionalism.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing effective account plans.
