About the role
The Commercial Head will lead all activities required to secure and manage contracts for maintenance work within the refinery’s Maintenance Department. This includes developing scopes of work, preparing tender documentation, selecting bidders, and authorising contractors to ensure world‑class performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop scopes of work for maintenance activities executed by contractors during normal refinery operation.
- Create evaluation criteria and preliminary cost estimates for contracts.
- Prepare Instructions to Bidders, conduct kick‑off meetings with contractors, and evaluate economic offers after technical assessment.
- Ensure HSSEQ policies and QA/QC requirements, including KPIs, are incorporated into all maintenance contracts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 12 + years experience in contracting and bid management.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proven leadership in large, multicultural organisations.
