Apt Resources is recruiting a motivated Commis 1 to join the culinary team of a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a high‑caliber hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking food items according to hotel standards and recipes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation to ensure food safety and hygiene.
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and plating.
• Handle proper storage and management of ingredients and equipment.
• Follow all hotel quality and safety procedures.
• Participate in kitchen briefings and training sessions to develop culinary skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis 1 or in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine‑dining establishment (preferred).
• Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills and a strong team orientation.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.
