Director, Finance Business Partner - West Arabia

About the role

Mastercard is hiring a Director, Finance Business Partner for its West Arabia division, based in Riyadh and reporting to the Vice President, East and West Arabia DFO. The role covers a broad range of finance responsibilities and acts as the finance business partner for the division, owning planning, operating performance and management reporting, while partnering with the business on strategy development and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance liaison for the West Arabia division with management, account managers, marketing, services and the West Arabia Finance team.
• Lead profit and loss management and results analysis, identifying risks and opportunities and delivering actionable insights.
• Drive forecasting and budgeting across markets, customers and product lines.
• Contribute to the development, assessment and implementation of Sales Incentive Plans, setting objectives and calculating individual results.
• Ensure local investment and fund allocation aligns with fund objectives, customer requirements and country strategy.
• Assess the financial impact of new Customer Business Agreements, maintain a pipeline of CBA opportunities and monitor deal performance.
• Educate business teams on accounting principles, policies and procedures, and oversee ad-hoc pricing and P&L projects by product and segment.
• Lead evaluations of special initiatives such as partnerships, non-traditional deals and M&A, and contribute to FP&A, Controller's Group, Pricing, Business Planning and Deal Management.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in business, accounting or a related discipline.
• Broad understanding of all areas of finance and strong strategic thinking and business understanding.
• Results-oriented, with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong relationship management and networking skills, and experience in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with business unit heads on revenue targets and forecasting, and to resolve customer service issues such as billing and waiver requests.
