General Accountant - Villas & Residences

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant to join the Finance team supporting Villas & Residences at the upcoming Four Seasons Red Sea Resort. The role manages accounting operations for residential units, ensures accurate financial reporting, handles owner accounts and complies with company standards. The resort is a pre-opening project on Shura Island, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to Villas & Residences
• Prepare and post journal entries focused on residential operations and owner transactions
• Manage and reconcile owner accounts and service charges
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, including billing for residents
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support budgeting and forecasting for the residential segment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
• Assist with audits and maintain proper financial documentation
• Coordinate with the Residences team for smooth financial operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, real estate or residential operations
• Experience handling owner accounts or service charge accounting is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting systems (ERP)
• Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication
