Principal Financial Analyst - Program Finance (Riyadh)

About the role

Raytheon Saudi Arabia is looking for a Principal Specialist Financial Analyst to support its Saudi Arabia Programs portfolio. The role is onsite in Riyadh and suits a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge of program finance, financial planning and analysis, and indirect cost rate management. The analyst works autonomously with limited oversight and acts as a strategic business partner to program and functional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly program financial reports and customer financial deliverables
• Own monthly sales, profit and cash forecasting for the assigned program portfolio
• Lead quarterly Estimates at Completion (EAC) development, including cost, schedule, risk and opportunity analysis
• Perform detailed variance analysis against budget baselines and report findings to program and finance leadership
• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and support cost CDRLs, IPMRs and CFSRs
• Support proposal cost development and basis of estimate preparation for new business
• Analyze and monitor indirect cost rates (overhead, G&A, fringe) against budgeted and forecasted pools and bases, and support forward pricing rate estimates
• Reconcile actual indirect charges against applied rates with accounting and estimating functions
• Coach and review junior finance professionals, and act as a strategic partner to program managers, contracts, engineering and operations
• Influence financial policies and present financial analysis to senior leadership

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field from a recognized Saudi or international university, with at least 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in program financial analysis, EAC development or cost controls in a project- or contract-based environment
• Strong verbal and written communication in English, including presenting to senior leadership
• Preferred: EVM experience on government or defense contracts, knowledge of government contracting financial requirements, experience coaching junior staff, continuous improvement mindset, and a background in aerospace, defense or government contracting finance
