Director of Destination Marketing for AMAALA

About the role

The Director of Destination Marketing for AMAALA will lead the creation and execution of performance‑driven marketing strategies that raise the destination’s profile, attract high‑value tourist segments, and support economic growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will bridge creative concepts with operational delivery to ensure all marketing outputs align with brand goals and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive destination marketing strategy focused on performance metrics and revenue targets.
• Set KPIs, monitor results, and adjust campaigns to maximize ROI and visitor engagement.
• Lead cross‑functional marketing teams and coordinate with internal units such as Development, DMC, events, and partnerships.
• Oversee digital campaigns—including paid media, influencer collaborations, and social media—using data analysis, A/B testing, and audience segmentation.
• Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels and innovate programs to differentiate AMAALA in a competitive tourism market.
• Build and manage relationships with local hotels, restaurants, attractions, tourism partners, and external agencies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level marketer with a proven track record in tourism or destination branding.
