Events Manager – Hotel & Catering Sales

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic Events Manager to lead the meeting, catering and event segment across its Saudi properties. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, driving sales, planning events and ensuring seamless execution from pre‑sale to post‑event.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and secure off‑site event business and manage on‑site meeting and catering enquiries.
• Act as a one‑stop shop for clients, coordinating detailed event planning with banquet operations, food & beverage, rooms division, finance and external suppliers.
• Optimize hotel revenue through strategic yield management, up‑selling facilities and services.
• Collaborate with the regional MICE sales team to meet monthly sales targets.
• Conduct site inspections, client entertainment and familiarisation visits.
• Prepare and send all client correspondence, including proposals, confirmations, amendments and agreements.

Required profile

• Hospitality degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in catering sales within a hotel environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
