Financial Planning Specialist

About the role

The Financial Planning Specialist will support Saudi Telecom Company in evaluating the financial impact of mobile and fixed broadband projects, developing comprehensive financial models, and ensuring alignment with the company’s short‑ and long‑term business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze pre‑launch feasibility studies for Mobile/Fixed Broadband commercial and capital projects, highlighting financial impacts on business plans.
• Build financial planning and valuation models for CAPEX/OPEX projects using time‑value‑of‑money concepts and discount cash flows at the cost of capital.
• Prepare and present financial, commercial, and operational KPIs, comparing actual performance against budgets and competitor benchmarks.
• Conduct pricing sensitivity, break‑even, and maximum exposure analyses to define profitable pricing ranges for consumer and enterprise services.
• Develop business case models to assess profitability of new product and service propositions.
• Evaluate financial implications of customer retention offers, validating sales volume, revenue cannibalisation, and migration effects.
• Collaborate with unit heads to create revenue/expense driver models for forecasting, ROI projections, and post‑expenditure performance tracking.
• Prepare corporate performance presentations for the Executive Committee, CEO, CFO, and senior executives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Identify and flag operational risks and opportunities, providing early warnings on variances that could affect financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
