Fleet & Transportation Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fleet & Transportation Manager to lead and optimise our extensive fleet of vehicles, buses, and commercial assets. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, safety, regulatory compliance, and cost control across all transportation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of a large fleet (500+ vehicles), including acquisition, registration, licensing, disposal and replacement planning.
• Develop and implement utilisation strategies to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Plan and oversee transportation services, routes, schedules and resource allocation to ensure timely, high‑quality service.
• Establish preventive maintenance programmes, monitor service schedules and control maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi transportation regulations, traffic laws and safety standards; manage inspections, accident investigations and insurance claims.
• Develop fleet safety policies, monitor driver performance, training and certifications, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and manage fleet budgets, negotiate contracts with suppliers, workshops, fuel providers and leasing companies.
• Create KPIs, performance dashboards and analytical reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in fleet and transportation management, preferably with large‑scale fleets (500+ vehicles).
• Proven experience with buses, staff transportation, passenger transport or commercial fleets.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi transportation regulations and fleet compliance requirements.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CILT, Fleet Management or Logistics certifications are a plus.
