About the role

Microsoft is seeking a senior professional to lead government account management for the Sport & Tourism sector. The role focuses on cultivating strategic relationships, driving digital transformation, and delivering high‑volume sales outcomes for both Microsoft and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with Microsoft sales methodology.
• Lead digital and business transformation initiatives that generate measurable business value.
• Manage complex government accounts, prioritising resources and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with internal partners and industry experts to identify growth opportunities.
• Leverage executive relationships to build trust and secure long‑term engagements.
• Guide extended virtual teams and stakeholders through consultative selling processes.
• Translate product features into business impact and create compelling value‑proposition presentations.
• Identify and maximise upselling and cross‑selling opportunities across accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in account management, sales or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of government, sport and tourism industry dynamics.
