Head of Trade Marketing – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Head of Trade Marketing will lead the trade marketing function for a large FMCG organisation in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh. The role focuses on developing and executing trade strategies that drive commercial growth and strengthen channel performance across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and business priorities.
• Strengthen channel performance and ensure effective in‑market execution.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and commercial teams to translate priorities into impactful trade initiatives.
• Drive customer and channel growth while optimising trade investments.
• Enhance commercial capabilities and improve commercial effectiveness across the organisation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of trade marketing experience within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of leading trade marketing functions and teams.
• Experience developing and executing channel strategies.
• Strong understanding of shopper behaviour, customer needs and market execution.
• Ability to manage trade investments and partner with sales and marketing teams.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Saudi national, in line with Saudisation requirements.
