Hotel General Manager – Riyadh Olaya

About the role

The Hotel General Manager will lead Barceló Riyadh Olaya, overseeing all operational areas to ensure the property meets brand standards, financial targets and guest satisfaction goals. Reporting to Barceló Gestiôn Hotelera, the GM is the key driver of the hotel’s performance and reputation in the Saudi market.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Engineering and Human Resources.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue objectives, improve profitability and grow market share.
• Manage budgeting, financial reporting and cost‑control measures to stay within financial targets.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction through service excellence, prompt issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards and company policies.
• Build and sustain relationships with owners, suppliers and community representatives.
• Implement quality control programmes to uphold Barceló brand standards.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and guest feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities.
