HR Workforce Specialist – Event Staffing & Planning

About the role

We are seeking an analytical HR Workforce Specialist to design and manage staffing plans for large international sporting events in Riyadh. The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting and optimizing a temporary workforce to meet both operational and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable workforce plans aligned with event timelines and venue readiness.
• Develop workforce forecasts based on event size, attendance expectations and functional needs.
• Build structured manpower plans covering venue operations, hospitality, security, accreditation, logistics and guest services.
• Continuously adjust plans based on real‑time event dynamics and changing operational needs.
• Partner with functional heads to gather requirements, challenge inputs and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Influence senior stakeholders with evidence‑based insights on workforce decisions.
• Create and maintain dashboards tracking hiring progress, headcount, deployment readiness and utilisation.
• Utilise advanced Excel techniques to analyse workforce data and support cost‑optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce planning, forecasting or analytics, preferably in large‑scale events.
• Strong commercial focus with the ability to balance service quality and cost efficiency.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail.
