Logistics Specialist – Riyadh

About the role

As a Logistics Specialist based in Riyadh, you will ensure that import activities are compliant, efficient, and cost‑effective while supporting 3M’s global supply chain. You will work closely with transport providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import processes in line with Saudi regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate inbound transportation from ports/airports to warehouses or customer sites.
• Monitor shipment schedules, milestones, and handoffs to maintain end‑to‑end visibility.
• Prepare and submit accurate import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, BOE, permits, Saber certificates).
• Oversee customs clearance to minimise delays, penalties, and demurrage costs.
• Communicate shipment status, risks, and issues to internal and external parties.
• Track transporter performance using metrics such as on‑time delivery and damage rate.
• Review and approve freight invoices and support continuous improvement of import processes.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in import, customs clearance, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and import documentation.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with a valid driving licence.
