Procurement Buyer – Hospitality

About the role

The Buyer will support IHG Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia by managing the procurement of goods and services needed for hotel operations. This role ensures that purchases are made efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions and prepare accurate purchase orders.
• Source and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the storeroom team to avoid shortages.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and competitive pricing.
• Verify quality of goods received and address discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including contracts and invoices.
• Assist in preparing reports on purchasing activities and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with purchasing systems.
