Senior Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will support executive decision‑making by preparing and analysing financial plans, budgets and performance reports for Saudi Telecom Company. This role combines routine financial analysis with the supervision of junior analysts to ensure accurate and timely financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve routine queries and supervise junior staff on financial planning and analysis matters.
• Prepare and submit financial analyses for executive management, following best practices.
• Conduct routine and non‑complex analyses of funds, investments, cash flows, assets, costs and revenues.
• Produce complex financial reports using data query tools across multiple databases and build financial models.
• Report on revenue assurance, including billing and usage reconciliation, and support fraud prevention initiatives.
• Provide budget management services and analysis for multiple departments.
• Support the preparation of budgeted financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
• Execute advanced budgeting, planning and modelling activities accurately and on schedule.
• Review junior‑prepared reports and forward them to senior reporting for executive use.
• Participate in best‑practice analysis and implementation to optimise the budgeting and financial lifecycle.
• Liaise with team members to build effective working relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–4 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis within the technology/telecommunications industry.
• Professional certification such as CFA or equivalent is preferred.

Required skills
