Senior Internal Auditor (Retail Pharmacy)

About the role

Lead and perform risk‑based internal audits focusing on IT systems, financial controls and business processes for a leading retail pharmacy chain in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk‑based audits under the Internal Audit Department.
• Review IT systems, business applications, financial processes and operational controls.
• Assess data integrity, system access, user privileges and segregation of duties.
• Review sales, discounts, returns, inventory, procurement, loyalty programs and related financial controls.
• Identify control gaps, operational risks and potential financial exposure.
• Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective action plans with management.
• Evaluate ERP, POS, CRM, e‑Commerce platforms, mobile applications and other business‑critical systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• CISA certification is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Risk Management or Internal Controls.
• Strong financial background with understanding of accounting controls.
• Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred.
