TAVI GCC Therapy Leader

About the role

Abbott's Structural Heart division is hiring a TAVI GCC Therapy Leader based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, serving the GCC region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman). The leader drives commercial growth, market development and strategic execution of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) business, combining commercial leadership, clinical understanding, account management and cross-functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the GCC TAVI commercial strategy to meet sales, market share and profitability targets, and create territory development plans
• Drive procedure growth through strategic account planning and monitor competitive activity and counterstrategies
• Forecast sales performance and manage business pipelines
• Partner with healthcare institutions to expand TAVI program adoption, support new TAVI centers and improve referral pathways
• Develop annual business plans, track KPIs such as implants, center productivity and conversion rates, and lead tender preparation and negotiations
• Maintain knowledge of TAVI technology and evidence, support customer education and physician training, and take part in major TAVI cases and events

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Healthcare Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 4-5 years of commercial experience in medical devices, cardiovascular, structural heart or related healthcare fields
• Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and managing complex stakeholder environments in GCC healthcare systems
• Structural Heart or TAVI experience highly preferred
