Accountant – Saudi National

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Saudi national accountant to join its finance team. The role involves independently handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing accurate financial statements and supporting audit processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing cycles.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and management reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Investigate variances, resolve discrepancies and provide explanations to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and supplying required documentation.
• Support budget, forecast and financial performance reporting.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to internal teams and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and standards.
