Director of Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Construction to lead the delivery of large‑scale, high‑rise projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will oversee all construction activities from inception to handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple developments.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, execution plans and methodologies.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and apply mitigation measures to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations, HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts and KPIs to senior management.
• Drive productivity, cost control and continuous improvement throughout construction operations.
• Mentor project teams and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of construction experience, including extensive work with Tier 1 main contractors.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑billion SAR projects, especially high‑rise towers and major building developments.
• Strong leadership, organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree is an advantage.
