HSE Inspector

About the role

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is launching a state‑of‑the‑art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City. As the plant moves toward commercial production, we need a hands‑on HSE Inspector to build and maintain a strong safety culture across all areas of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily and periodic HSE inspections in furnace, smelting, casting, rolling mill, workshops, warehouses and utility zones.
• Identify hazards, unsafe conditions and practices; report findings and recommendations to HSE Management.
• Monitor compliance with safe operating procedures for molten copper, high‑temperature equipment and PPE usage.
• Oversee Permit to Work (PTW) systems for hot work, confined space entry, work at height, excavation, lifting and electrical tasks.
• Inspect maintenance activities to ensure proper isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Check fire‑fighting equipment, alarms, emergency exits and assembly points for readiness.
• Support accident, injury and near‑miss investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver Toolbox Talks, safety awareness sessions and HSE inductions for employees and contractors.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of HSE experience in an industrial, heavy‑industry or metal‑manufacturing environment, preferably copper smelting or rolling mill.
• Strong knowledge of HSE principles, PTW and LOTO procedures, and high‑temperature hazards.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, prepare reports and respond effectively to emergencies.
