Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Reef Holding is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead the internal audit function across the Group and its subsidiaries in Riyadh. You will develop and execute a risk‑based audit plan, provide independent reviews of financial and operational activities, and report directly to executive management and the Audit Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and obtain approval for an annual risk‑based internal audit plan covering finance, operations, compliance and governance.
• Conduct scheduled and surprise audits across departments, branches and business activities, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Review accounting records, financial transactions and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses, root causes and provide practical corrective and preventive recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and verify timely closure.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Coordinate with external auditors to avoid duplication of work.
• Design proactive audit tools using data analysis, performance indicators and modern analytics platforms such as ACL and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Significant experience in internal audit, preferably within a large, diversified organization.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards, risk assessment methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently, maintain objectivity and handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ACL audit software.
• Experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
