Mechanical Site Engineer (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

This entry‑level Mechanical Site Engineer position supports the coordination and management of mechanical trades on large construction projects. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all mechanical work is delivered on schedule, meets quality standards, and is handed over successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive Mechanical Contract Items List (CIL) and verify subcontractor submissions against it.
• Receive, assess, and forward Requests for Information (RFIs) and review system shop drawings.
• Coordinate shop drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP documents to produce fully coordinated drawing sets.
• Assist in the selection, sourcing, and final coordination of all mechanical fixtures and finishes.
• Support the MEP manager in tracking material submittals, samples, and shop drawings against IFC drawings.
• Monitor required certifications, permits, and No‑Objection Certificates, intervening when necessary.
• Maintain document control procedures consistent with company standards.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical information clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality control and compliance.
