Senior Manager Special Assets Corporate

About the role

The Senior Manager – Special Assets – Corporate is responsible for leading the restructuring and recovery of large corporate non‑performing loan portfolios. The role ensures timely, workable solutions are negotiated and implemented, while protecting the bank’s interests and complying with regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large corporate restructurings for non‑performing loans, developing and executing recovery strategies.
• Analyse borrowers’ financial data to assess restructuring feasibility and propose appropriate terms.
• Develop financial models to project the impact and validity of restructuring initiatives.
• Assess and rate the corporate loan portfolio, identifying loans in risk categories 10, 11, and 12.
• Calculate and monitor provisions in line with Basel regulations and bank standards.
• Lead relationship management with distressed corporates, designing payment settlement plans and feasibility studies.
• Prepare credit proposals and ensure proper use of collateral and securities.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to implement settlement plans and monitor compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in managing non‑performing corporate loan portfolios.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate financial statements and restructuring options.
• In‑depth knowledge of Basel regulations and bank credit risk policies.
• Proven track record of developing financial models and provisioning forecasts.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
