Senior Regional Pre‑Construction Lead (GES)

About the role

The Senior Regional Pre‑Construction Lead drives the engineering design phase for large‑scale fulfillment, sort‑center and quick‑commerce projects across the AMET region. Managing a portfolio of over USD 1 billion, the role ensures sites are ready for construction while meeting timeline, quality and financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑construction activities from site selection through detailed design and construction readiness.
• Partner with Design & Construction, Real Estate and other stakeholders to develop optimal site strategies.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve design conflicts and improve processes.
• Make critical decisions, escalating when necessary, and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver results.
• Communicate project status and decisions to internal and external partners.
• Travel up to 50 % across the AMET region to support site evaluations and stakeholder alignment.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading pre‑construction or engineering design for large logistics facilities.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Experience managing multicultural teams and navigating local regulations.
