Site Project Engineer – Fit‑Out Specialist

About the role
ABYAT is seeking a Site Project Engineer to lead the execution and supervision of interior fit‑out works across its retail stores. The role ensures that all fit‑out activities are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, timelines and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily fit‑out activities, including flooring, tiling, ceilings, partitions, painting, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and doors.
- Verify site measurements and conditions before fabrication and installation.
- Manage sequencing of works to maintain smooth site progress and meet project milestones.
- Review architectural, interior design, shop and coordination drawings and ensure execution follows approved documents.
- Raise RFIs and technical queries, communicate design changes and coordinate with designers, consultants and project managers.
- Coordinate fit‑out works with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire‑fighting and other MEP services, identifying and resolving clashes.
- Oversee the handover process through snagging and final delivery.
