Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance

About the role

The Accountant will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain compliance with Saudi tax regulations, and manage core accounting operations. This position supports month‑end and year‑end closing, audit preparation, and the integrity of the ERP financial modules.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets, inventory accounting, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure full compliance with VAT, Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding tax, monitoring regulatory updates.
• Support cash‑flow management through supplier payment follow‑ups, receivable monitoring, and accruals.
• Produce monthly profit and loss statements, balance‑sheet reviews, and management reports.
• Assist in audit schedules, documentation, and financial statement accuracy.
• Drive ERP system improvements, reporting automation, and coordination with relevant departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a finance‑related field (mandatory).
• Professional accounting certifications such as ACA (intermediate), ACCA (part‑qualified – two papers completed), or ACMA (intermediate) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat, CIT, withholding tax).
• Experience with month‑end and year‑end closing, audit support, and financial reporting.
