Accountant – Riyadh

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team in Riyadh. The role involves handling day‑to‑day financial transactions, supporting month‑end reporting and ensuring compliance with local VAT and accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare expense, revenue, and budget reports for management review.
• Support budgeting activities and monitor budget variances.
• Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other financial regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, payroll entries, petty cash, and reimbursements.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to improve financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP or Tally.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
