Banking SME Advisory Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a senior Banking Subject Matter Expert to join our advisory team in Riyadh. The position focuses on strategy, analytics, transformation and commercial optimization for banking and financial services clients, rather than traditional IT implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level banking domain expertise across retail, corporate, wealth management and ecosystem monetization.
• Support strategy formulation, business analysis and transformation initiatives for banking clients.
• Contribute to commercial optimization projects aimed at revenue growth, cost efficiency and performance improvement.
• Participate in workshops, executive discussions and stakeholder engagements to deliver expert insights.
• Review and validate business cases, operating models and transformation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with consulting and internal teams to ensure best practices are applied.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations, reports and advisory documents for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong senior‑level experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven expertise in banking strategy, transformation or commercial optimization.
• Consulting background, preferably on banking or financial services projects.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders in client‑facing roles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to articulate complex banking concepts clearly.
• Based in Riyadh or willing to work on‑site in Riyadh.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
