Business Development Coordinator

About the role

EXP Arabia is seeking a versatile Business Development Coordinator to support its engineering and consulting operations across the GCC. The role involves proactive sourcing of opportunities, managing pre‑qualification processes, and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, filter, and organize potential business opportunities.
• Lead registration, pre‑qualification, qualification, and submittal development for national and GCC clients.
• Develop and maintain key contacts with client representatives.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, and report findings.
• Maintain Business Development records, including registration, submission, and pipeline logs.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Represent the company at meetings and conferences, document minutes, and manage back‑end BD activities.
• Research local price points, project award values, and other market parameters.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in business development or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Fluent English for business communication.
• Experience engaging with expatriates, western nationals, and local nationals.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical abilities and knowledge of engineering/construction markets.
• Self‑starter with thorough documentation and reporting habits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation procedures.
