About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Business Development Manager to join our software sales team. You will engage directly with customers, understand their business needs, and promote our portfolio of IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Interact with customers face‑to‑face or by phone to assess their specific business requirements.
  • Conduct cold‑calling campaigns to generate new leads and arrange meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations and software demonstrations.
  • Create sales literature, attend industry events, and keep up‑to‑date with evolving hardware and software technologies.
  • Provide technical advice on installation, usage, and optimisation of computer systems and networks.
  • Respond to tender documents, proposals, and supporting literature.
  • Collaborate with technical colleagues to resolve hardware or software issues.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in software sales or technical consulting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales‑tracking tools.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CRM software.
  • Experience using sales tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software specifications and documentation.
